This policy outlines our position and responsibilities regarding the use of third-party payment gateways by our customers to receive payments from their clients. By using ZEIFUS, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Overview

ZEIFUS provides a platform for businesses, freelancers, and other professionals to manage work, HR, and client relationships. As part of our offerings, we allow users to integrate their own payment gateway methods to receive payments directly from their clients. These integrations empower our customers to handle their financial transactions independently and securely. However, ZEIFUS does not process payments directly, act as a payment intermediary, or hold any funds on behalf of our customers or their clients. Consequently, ZEIFUS is not involved in, nor responsible for, any payment-related issues, disputes, or fraudulent activities arising between our customers and their clients.


2. Responsibility of Customers

By integrating your payment gateway into the ZEIFUS platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Choice of Payment Gateway: You are solely responsible for selecting and integrating a payment gateway that meets your business requirements and complies with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Payment Terms: You are responsible for defining, communicating, and enforcing your payment terms and conditions with your clients.
  • Fraud Prevention: You are responsible for implementing adequate fraud detection and prevention measures when dealing with your clients.
  • Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the payment gateway complies with local and international financial regulations, including taxation and anti-money laundering laws.

3. ZEIFUS’ Position

ZEIFUS provides the technical capability to integrate third-party payment gateways but does not manage, monitor, or interfere with any payment transactions. Therefore:

  • No Interference: ZEIFUS does not access, track, or control the flow of funds between you and your clients.
  • No Mediation: ZEIFUS does not mediate disputes or disagreements related to payment amounts, delays, failures, refunds, chargebacks, or any other payment issues.
  • No Liability: ZEIFUS is not liable for any losses, damages, or legal consequences arising from:
    • Fraudulent transactions initiated by your clients or other third parties.
    • Payment gateway malfunctions or errors.
    • Unauthorized access to your payment gateway account.

4. Fraudulent Activities

ZEIFUS does not tolerate fraudulent activities on its platform. However, as payment gateways are managed and operated independently by our customers:

  • No Monitoring: ZEIFUS does not monitor payment activities conducted via third-party payment gateways integrated into the platform.
  • Customer Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of our customers to verify the legitimacy of transactions and the identity of their clients.
  • Reporting Fraud: Any suspected fraudulent activities related to payments must be reported directly to the relevant payment gateway provider and law enforcement authorities.

5. Payment Disputes

In the event of a payment dispute between you and your client:

  • Independent Resolution: You and your client are solely responsible for resolving the dispute. ZEIFUS will not participate in mediating or arbitrating disputes.
  • Payment Gateway Support: Contact your payment gateway provider for assistance with chargebacks, refunds, or transaction reversals.
  • No Refunds from ZEIFUS: ZEIFUS does not provide refunds or financial assistance for disputes related to payment transactions.

6. Indemnification

By using ZEIFUS and integrating your payment gateway, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZEIFUS, its affiliates, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from or related to:

  • Your use of third-party payment gateways.
  • Fraudulent or unauthorized transactions involving your clients.
  • Non-compliance with applicable financial or legal regulations.

7. Disclaimers

While ZEIFUS strives to provide a seamless and secure platform, we make no representations or warranties regarding:

  • The performance, security, or reliability of third-party payment gateways.
  • The accuracy or completeness of transaction data displayed within the ZEIFUS platform.
  • The legality or legitimacy of any transaction conducted through your integrated payment gateway.

8. Customer Support

For technical assistance related to integrating your payment gateway with ZEIFUS, you can contact our support team at contact@zeifus.co. However, please note that we do not provide support for issues related to the operation, security, or compliance of third-party payment gateways.


9. Amendments

ZEIFUS reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated through our platform and take effect immediately upon posting.
